The Commission for Smart Government held an evidence session on Thursday 3 December 2020, where Commissioners put questions to Jonathan Powell, Chief of Staff to Tony Blair 1997-2007; Baroness Sally Morgan of Huyton, Senior Adviser to Tony Blair 1997-2005; Baroness Kate Fall, Deputy Chief of Staff to David Cameron 2010-2016; and Lord Gavin Barwell, Chief of Staff to Theresa May 2017-2019.

The session examined the role of 10 Downing Street in supporting the Prime Minister to set and deliver a strategic agenda.
